At its recent meeting, the Digital Task Force decided to expand the list of priority ICT areas for the International Technopark of IT Startups, Astana Hub. The deadline for implementation is set for November 10, 2025.

The updated list now includes multimedia, design, game publishing, software support and modification, as well as services in the field of esports and English language education.

Additionally, the list incorporates business process outsourcing services using software for non-residents of Kazakhstan, aimed at strengthening the export potential of domestic IT companies.

Government agencies have been instructed to stop developing standalone mobile applications and transition to a unified integration model via the eGov and Aitu platforms.

According to officials, the shift to a SuperApp model will eliminate fragmentation in digital solutions, improve citizen access to public services, and enhance data security.

Rules for allocating computing power at the National Supercomputer Center Alem.cloud have also been approved, with a regulatory legal act to follow.

Access to Alem.cloud resources will be granted to Astana Hub startups, universities, research institutions, government agencies, and private sector projects, including foreign companies.

Priority in resource allocation will be given to projects related to national AI development and digitalization of key sectors.

These sectors include education, healthcare, agriculture, energy, transportation, industry, mining and metallurgy, construction, and robotics.

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education has been tasked with supporting universities involved in projects utilizing Alem.cloud’s computing capacity.
