On October 15, the third National Internet Governance Forum — Qazaqstan IGF 2025 — took place in Almaty. Participants discussed digital codification, cryptoasset regulation, deepfakes, offensive AI, women’s cybersecurity, digital skills development, and sustainable growth. Special attention was given to the role of artificial intelligence in transforming the digital environment and the need for legal mechanisms to protect human rights, including the draft Digital Code of Kazakhstan.
