Now, when creating, improving and operating information and communication networks, as well as communication networks in the system of internal affairs bodies, it is necessary to test the system for compliance with information security (IS) requirements.
All this follows from the order of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which amends order No. 410 dated July 3, 2014 “On approval of the Rules for the creation, use and improvement of information systems, information and communication and telecommunication networks, communication networks.”
Now paragraph 9 of the order for 2014 is stated as follows:
“To ensure safe and high-quality interaction, the customer service and the information and communications service test the system for compliance with information security requirements in accordance with the order of the Minister of Digital Development, Defense and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 3, 2019 No. 111/НК “On approval of methods and rules testing “electronic government” informatization objects and critical information and communication infrastructure objects for compliance with information security requirements.”
The document came into force on June 9, 2024.
Let us remind you that earlier the Government made changes to the information security requirements of government agencies. Now you need to be guided by the information security standard ISO/IEC 27002-2023.
Also, when commissioning an “electronic government” informatization object, it is necessary to use only source codes received from the GTS from a single “electronic government” repository.
